Application: It is used in a variety of industrial and food applications. In the food industry, it is commonly used as a sequestrant, emulsifier, and texturizer in processed foods such as canned vegetables, dairy products, and meats. It can also be found in some toothpaste and other oral hygiene products as a tartar control agent.
