Uses: Monocalcium phosphate anhydrous, also known as calcium dihydrogen phosphate, has several comprehensive applications across various industries. Some of the notable applications include:

1. Food industry: It is commonly used as a leavening agent in baked goods, such as bread, cakes, and pastries. Monocalcium phosphate reacts with baking soda to release carbon dioxide, which helps dough and batter to rise and create a light, fluffy texture.

2. Beverage industry: Monocalcium phosphate can be used as a buffering agent in the production of beverages. It helps to adjust the pH and prevent changes in acidity, maintaining the desired flavor and stability of the product.

3. Pharmaceutical industry: It is used as an excipient in pharmaceutical tablets and capsules. Monocalcium phosphate serves as a diluent and binder, providing necessary hardness and compressibility to the dosage forms.

4. Animal feed: Monocalcium phosphate is commonly used as a source of phosphorus and calcium in animal feed formulations. It helps to support healthy bone development and overall growth in livestock and poultry.

5. Fertilizer industry: It is used as a source of phosphorus in fertilizers, providing essential nutrients to promote plant growth and improve crop yield.

6. Water treatment: Monocalcium phosphate can be utilized as a water treatment agent to control corrosion and scale formation in cooling towers and boilers.

7. Industrial applications: It is used as an additive in some industrial processes, such as metal treatment, ceramics production, and wastewater treatment.
