Character: Magnesium acetate is deliquescent and soluble in water, and the aqueous solution is neutral or weakly acidic. It will be deliquescent in the moist air, weathered in the concentrated sulfuric acid dryer, and dehydrated at 100°C.

Usage: Magnesium acetate has several applications in different industries:

1. Deicer: Magnesium acetate is used on roads, runways, and sidewalks. Like other deicing agents, it helps melt ice and snow, making surfaces safer for travel.

2. Dust suppressant: Magnesium acetate can be used as a dust suppressant to control dust in industrial settings, construction sites, or unpaved roads. It helps prevent particulate matter from becoming airborne.

3. Laboratory reagent: Magnesium acetate is utilized as a laboratory reagent for various purposes. It can be involved in chemical reactions, as a source of magnesium, or as a catalyst in certain organic synthesis reactions.

4. Industrial applications: Magnesium acetate is used in industrial processes, such as textile printing, dyeing, and wastewater treatment. It assists in improving color fastness and dye adhesion and acts as a coagulant in water treatment.

Packing:  Packed with a polyethylene bag as an inner layer and a compound plastic woven bag as the outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.

Storage & Transportation: Stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept from heat and moisture during transportation, and unloaded with care to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
